Why Moisture Testing Comes Before the First Machine

A trolley can look perfect and still mill poorly. Moisture is the check that decides whether a lot is accepted.

Good rice is decided at the weighbridge, not only on the mill floor. If incoming paddy is too wet, recovery drops, breakage rises, and storage risk follows the bag into the market.

Every lot we accept is checked for moisture, grain fill and foreign matter before it enters cleaning. Farmers are told the reading honestly. That is why partner farms keep coming back — the test is visible, and payment stays on the same working day.

For buyers, this shows up as more consistent cooking and fewer surprises between lots. When you indent from a mill that records moisture lot by lot, you can plan packing and dispatch with more confidence.
